From the sketchbook
Just some filler while I work on a few creative projects. This was originally suggested (unsurprisingly) by Jason. It's not particularly detailed, it's just a doodle. It's also about a year old. But hey, it's new to YOU, right?
I'm working on a small art project, a photography stunt, and the start of a flash fiction series. Those should start to materialize next week.

This picture never fails to entertain me. I call it up on my computer sometimes and just look at it for a while. Because, really, two of the comicy things I love best are Peanuts and X-Men.
Also because I can't but help thinking about the expansion potential for this drawing. Snoopy drawn as the Beast, Pigpen as Nightcrawler, Peppermint Patty and Marcy as Wolverine and Jubilee (respectively; Patty and Logan both refer to Xavier/Brown as "Chuck")...
In my head I'm missing places for Lucy, Schroeder and Sally out of the "familiar to everyone" cast.

Apparently I need to include a full bibliography with every post now. Ogre does indeed deserve a significant portion of the credit for the idea. But Jason was the one who harbored the greatest quiet obsession with the concept in his own inimitably creepy fashion.
ps. Reopen City of Heroes and play on Victory.
